[He's never really let himself get attached to people. Mordecai's not sentimental like that. The few that he does get attached to, he does an amazing job at ignoring.

[Whatever he's about to say next is interrupted by a distinct raise in Lilith's tone. Mordecai casts the door a grim look.]

Sounds like they're about done. I'd advise avoiding Lilith for a bit. Knowing her, she'll be looking for someone to take out her bad mood on.

[Just imagine the reaction from Lilith if she opened the door and Mordecai was gone.]
