[Mordecai's unhappy growl sounds a little more pissed off than usual. However, he keeps his voice even as he speaks his request.]
I need a medic. Deck 11, Room 2458.

Hunting in the forest? Sounds like a deal to me.
[He starts to move, pauses and casts a short glance at Lilith's closed door. It's a tough choice to make. On one hand, he really wants to see that weapon and to hang out with Mikaela some more, but on the other, he's not sure he trusts the medic robot enough to leave a wounded buddy alone with no back up.
Mordecai makes an gruff sound and leans back against the wall.]
I'd say now, but I'm leery of the robot. We'll make it soon though, alright?

[Her eyes flick to the closed door, and her lips try to curve into a small smile. She gets it; if it was Ironhide in there she wouldn't leave him either.
Then again, Ironhide is a stubborn jerk and won't let the ship's medic (WHO HAS TOOLS) help him, so...There you have it.]
That's fine, whenever you're free. I've hardly got any kind of schedule going on here.
no subject
She's team. Don't go getting the wrong idea.
[Look at him, being all tough and manly and... deliberately refusing to acknowledge any attachment to the Siren. He's a free man, dammit.]
I'm not sure any of us do. You've caught me on a rare moment of actually doing something.
no subject
No, I get it, trust me. If it was one of my friends that was hurt, I wouldn't leave either.
[Yes, he's so very tough and manly, Mikaela might just swoon.
She chuckles.]
Pretty much...I have no agenda here. Gets boring sometimes, with nothing to actually work on. I miss my shop.
no subject
Mordecai frowns as she speaks but relaxes when she claims to get what he's saying.]
This boat's got everything we're supposed to want but nothing we really want.
[He regards her for a second or two, and then, Mordecai grins.]
I can trash a zoomer if you want. That'll give you something to work on.
html fail right thar
She nods, toeing the ground with her boot.]
Yeah, pretty much. Glorified prison is what it is.
[Her eyes flick over at him and her smile widens.]
Aw, you'd do that for me? I'm touched.
And here I was thinking you were just being fancy.
[And it's pissing him off. Mordecai likes his being able to roam as he pleases. He'd been starting to adjust to being cooped up, but the voice is putting him on edge and it's starting to get at him again.
He switches aggravation for amusement. No sense in getting angry if there's no one to take it out on.]
What can I say, I'm a nice guy.
[He really isn't. Well, depending on who you are. Most times he's not.]
Speaking of which, you still owe me a race.
I like to dress up my tags with random italics
[She leans back against the wall, resting one foot against it.]
That's right, I do. So eager for me to whip you.
I'm impressed. :D
Ach, and they call me cocky. What's got you so sure you can beat me?
:3
Cause I've been driving [getaway vehicles] cars since I could talk.
no subject
Oh yeah? Try [running over bandits] dodging bullets and trying not to be skewered by an acid spitting spiderant.
[He lifts his head a little, looking down at her in challenge.]
no subject
Try driving a tow truck backwards with an Autobot strapped to the back in the middle of a giant droid death match.
no subject
[He smirks, leaning down to speak his next line in a lowered voice.]
Try driving through that mess with a pissed of Siren sitting up top with a rocket launcher.
[That was a fun day.]
no subject
[She leans in with a grin, then laughs quietly.]
Fair enough. Okay, how about this...try driving a stolen car you hotwired with a psychotic femmebot on top with a six foot tongue that's wrapped around your buddys neck.
pissed off Siren* MAH TYPAN IS GUD. :B
Whoa, hang on there. I might almost be impressed.
[He is.]
That's rough. Your buddy robot or human?
[Or other?]
my fail is rubbing off xD
My friend was human. Had another in the back seat shrieking his head off. You know how irritating that is? Anyway, ended up running the psycho-bitch over after I smashed her into a pole, but we ended up snagged by a helicopter that wasn't really a copter and flown via extension cable over the city to an abandoned warehouse where said friend almost had his brain harvested by a crab bot.
what a talented pair we are!
So two guys had to be saved by a girl. I bet that went down well.
its a mark of brilliance
[She shakes her head. Memories of Sam were good ones, even if they were full of robots trying to murder them.]
|D
But he will tease.]
'Sam' huh? What's he, your partner?
:3
Kinda. He was my boyfriend back home. We sorta discovered an alien race together and...went through everything I was telling you about together. He's shown up here twice.
[And each time he'd disappeared had torn a hole in her.]
no subject
Twice? And then what, died? Or was he one of the people who just vanished overnight?
[...Clearly, Mordecai fails at not being a dick.]
no subject
He was one of the ones that vanished in the middle of the night. Seems like a lot of people I get close to do that.
[Oh Mordecai. Thank you for being you.]
no subject
Mordecai nods. He won't say he's sorry. He's simply not a sentimental guy like that, but his expression hints that he understands.]
Sounds like a dick for leaving you behind like that.
[Comfort isn't exactly something he's good at. But he's trying.]
no subject
Well, I'm not really sure what choice he had. I don't think that the captain really takes into consideration what we want. He just...vanished.
no subject
Hm.
[His brow creases a little in thought. If the one person on his team vanished overnight without a trace, it would bother him more than he'd like to admit.
He refocuses on Mikaela. Mordecai's only met her properly this day, but she's been good conversation. If she left he'd be a little bored.
Just a little.]
Captain does as Captain wants. It's bullshit, but the game isn't in our favor right now.
